Anne Burrell

Anne W. Burrell has been a chef, television host in America and an instructor at Institute of Culinary Education. She is host of Secrets of a Restaurant Chef at the Food Network. Anne Burrell's Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant chef, with her trademark spiky blond locks and pumped up appearance, offers simple techniques that anybody can learn. Chef Burrell studied and worked in the best New York restaurants. He was also a part of Iron Chef America and the food scene of Italy. Burrell was born in New York State's Upstate, began to develop a passion for cooking. The Culinary Institute of America was where she studied after earning an English degree as well as a communications certificate from Canisius College Buffalo NY. The Culinary Institute of America has been a great learning experience. I couldn't learn or do enough. After graduation, chef Burrell was able to spend a full time in Italy taking classes at the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners and working in La Taverna del Lupo in Umbria and La Bottega del 30 a one-Michelin star restaurant in Tuscany. While in Italy she was able to fully appreciate and understand the philosophies behind Italian cuisine and culture which left a lasting impact on her culinary perspective. Burrell was an Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board members, which strives to enhance living conditions for children who face obstacles. Burrell also serves as a Juvenile Disease Research Foundation (JDRF) celebrity ambassador and advocates awareness of childhood diabetes. Burrell is often a guest to speak at conferences and tours the country to mentor others in her job. Anne says she was incredibly fortunate that I could be able to share her passion for cooking with other people.
