Magda Apanowicz

Magda Apanowicz is an Canadian actress from Canada. She is most well-known for her roles on ABC Family's Kyle XY as Andy Jensen and Syfy's Caprica science fiction drama series as Lacy Rand. Emily Hartwell, a science fiction actress was born Maya Hartwell. Recently, she was spotted as Sandy on the Netflix thriller series You. Apanowicz she is a Polish-American she attended ninth grade in Poland. She lived with her uncle in Poland, and went to Jelenia Gola school. She later went on to study at Vancouver Film School. After her brother introduced her the Pulp Fiction, she became fascinated by acting. She started her acting career in 2002 by appearing in Jeremiah and John Doe. Between 2007 and 2009 she portrayed Andy Jensen in Kyle XY. She starred in Every Second Counts, a Hallmark Channel original film that premiered in 2008. In 2009, Apanowicz was cast in the role of Lacy Rand (a regular in the series) in the drama television series Caprica with Eric Stoltz, Alessandra Torresani. Hellcats was her following appearance. In 2012, she starred in the role of Emily in Jane Espenson's second series of her web-based romantic comedy series Husbands. In 2013, Apanowicz also played the role as Samantha in The Green Inferno, an Eli Roth horror film. Though it was made in 2012, The Green Inferno was worldwide made available in 2015.In 2017, Apanowicz was cast as Angela in the science fiction thriller film Volition. It came out in 2020. In the year 2019 Apanowicz was the lead character Sandy in the second season Netflix thriller You.
