Emily Swallow

American actress Emily Swallow was born December 18th, 1979. Her appearances in The Mentalist as Kim Fischer and Supernatural as Amara/The Darkness are her most famous. She also played the Armorer in Star Wars' live-action series The Mandalorian. Emily played part in a minor role on The Last of Us Part II. Swallow was born on the 18th of December 1979, in Washington, D.C. Her family was raised in Sterling, Virginia, as also in Jacksonville, Florida. Swallow started acting in Stanton College Preparatory School. She also performed in amateur and professional theatre productions. Swallow graduated from the Stanton College Preparatory school located in Jacksonville in 2001. She graduated with an undergraduate degree in Middle Eastern Studies. She then went on to study for an MFA in Acting at the New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. In 2008, she made her film debut in The Lucky Ones, a military-themed drama. She appeared in two international premieres: Donald Margulies' play The Country House, Los Angeles' Geffen Playhouse; and Mark Rylance's show Nice Fish, at the Guthrie Theatre. [citation needed] She won the Falstaff Award for best Female Performer in 2010 for her role as Kate in The Taming of the Shrew.In 2012, Swallow and fellow singer/comedian Jac Huberman devised an original stage show titled Jac N Swallow, which they performed in New York at the Laurie Beeckman Theater and Joe's Pub. The show revolves around the hilarious misadventures of Jac Huberman and Swallow as they face very different problems in their lives that they face with varying degrees.
