Alona Tal

Alona Tal, an Israeli-American actress and singer was born on the 20th of October 20th, 1983 in Herzliya, Israel. Her career began as a soldier in the Israeli Defense Forces. Her acting debut was in an Israeli film in 2003. She also starred in two television series in the country, and did some music as well making several tracks along with Israeli rapper Subliminal. Tal was able to move to New York with her sister. In the track "Party to Damascus" she was part of an arrangement with Wyclef Jean from Haiti. American television was where she made her mark. Her first role was a recurring one in the series Veronica Mars. Tal eventually was offered an ongoing role on the CBS series. Prior to going to New York, Tal starred in two Israeli TV series. Wyclef Jean was her singing partner. Her mother tongue is Hebrew. She came in second for the role of Veronica Mars (2004). Thomas loved her so much that he created the regular character of Meg Manning just for her. Served in The Israel Defense Forces. Both of her parents are Jewish Her father is Turkish/Jewish and her mother is Polish/Jewish. Acts as Adrian Monk’s daughter in the final episode. Her father is Turkish/Jewish, and her mother is Polish/Jewish.
