Aaron Jeffery

  The Logie Award-winning New Zealand actor Aaron C. Jeffery is from Australia. He is best known for his performances in Water Rats as Terry Watson, Alex Ryan and Matt Fletcher, both in McLeod's Daughters. Born in Howick, Auckland, Jeffery was able to move to Australia at the age of 17 and began studying acting at NIDA. He received his NIDA degree in 1993. Following that, he launched his TV career as a producer on the children's show Ship to Shore. Jeffery is best known for his performance as Alex Ryan in the drama McLeod's Daughters that he left in 2008. He also appeared in the third season of the New Zealand drama series Outrageous Fortune. Jeffery was also in the role of Frank in Underbelly: Badness. He completed filming on the 22nd of June. Three days later Jeffery was named Bradley Fox's replacement on Neighbours for a period of two weeks. It was revealed in October that Jeffery was assigned as a Wentworth corrections officer. Bevan Lee's series Between Two Worlds starred Jeffery. It was announced in April 2021 that Jeffery would be appearing on the Netflix thriller series Pieces of Her. The show is based on the Karin Slaughter novel. For his performance in McLeod's Daughters, Jeffery was awarded the Silver Logie for Most Popular Drama Series actor in 2004 and 2007.
